- I as a Visual Basic programmer I agree. To ignore any one one completely
- is like sticking one's head in the sand. I am learning DELPHI and I will
- continue to use Visual Basic as well. There are things that VB does real
- well and the same is true for DELPHI. I also see the merits of keeping
- up my knowledge of XBase languages also. I wish VO would be a friendlier
- environment than it is. There are some really neat features in the old
- Clipper product which both VB and DELPHI could really use. FoxPro and
- Visual Dbase may be better as far as XBase is concerned. I admit I have
- stayed away from C and C++, I don't like the cryptic command structure
- preffering a more English like language. I've got my hands full with the
- languages I am now using. The mix of tools I do have can make up for
- insufficiency in that area.
